Able Pupils

Four of our Year Five and Year Six pupils attended an able maths day at Salfords Primary School at the end of September.  It was led by Andrew Jeffrey who has a wealth of experience: school inspector, lecturer, author, teacher trainer and mathemagician

Andrew reminded them: "Remember that the purpose of today is to enjoy ourselves by learning new things, and learn how to enjoy being stuck - that's what real mathematicians do!"

The words that the children used to describe the day were: “enjoyable”, “unforgettable”, “hard”, “amazing”, “really fun” and “made you think!”

A fabulous day was had by all!
